Remembering Allen
I am saddened and shocked at Allen's untilely passing. I recall setting at The Beverly Hill's Hotel outside the Polo Lounge with him about one year ago. Coincidentally, we were staying at the same hotel, having flown out for our friend Chosan's performance at The Disney Concert Hall. We did not go into the lounge, Allen thought it would be more fun to sit outside the door and watch the people go by. It was a wonderful moment because I usually saw Allen in large crowds; at charity functions or parties. Only the largest and most elegant places were where I found Allen.

As we chatted ,a number of Hollywood starlets passed by. One of whom was Nicole Kidman. Allen said, "She is pretty, but not quite my type." We had fun just sitting, talking and watching as people passed before us. Allen shared some stories of his life; he was proud of his family and said his children had grown up well.

Allen said, "I am not working that much these days, I sold my Southampton home and want to enjoy my life. I love traveling the world and meeting people. I just want to live life to the fullest."

Well Allen, I believe you saw more and did more with your life than many people ever do. You loved life and you loved living it. Perhaps you just did it faster than us. Your kindness and love touched many people all over the world. You were well loved and will be missed by many. I believe you thoroughly enjoyed your life as you had planned. God bless you, your family and friends. We will find comfort in memories of you. We will miss your stories and quest for adventure but most of all we will miss you.

From Paola and Arni Rosenshein
Dear Friends,

It took approximately 8 weeks. Allen Beeber was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer and he died. He sat on the benches close to his apartment, next to Tavern on the Green, because he could not walk any more after his chemo and he looked at the Sky and the Trees of our beloved Park. There is a program. It is called Adopt a Bench. We will put his name on the bench in Central Park and we will remember him and how precious Life is and how we must treasure our friends. Every minute counts. So in this spirit I am asking you to join my husband Arnie and I to write a check (even a small amount counts $25, $50, $100) to:

Central Park Conservancy in the description section ps. write: Allen Beeber/Adopt a Bench Program and mail it to me at: Paola Bacchini Rosenshein 303 E 57 street PHE New York, New York 10022

Please email me at PBacchini@aol and let me know You are IN....!!!!
I am enclosing the picture of the benches taken by one of Allen's son, Jason....ps. let us do this.... Paola
